Move over Bill Gates and Alan Greenspan, the Wall Street Journal
has a new business hero. CraZy
Dog, the sunglass-wearing entrepreneurial canine and his cast of CraZy Pet
characters have made their fourth appearance on page one of the nation’s
largest circulation newspaper. The
colorful cartoon pets appear on the CraZy Pet line of dog and cat treats
and supplies, as well as on non-pet products like disposable cameras and
apparel. “We
introduced the CraZy Pet line in 1996, so we’re averaging one front
page placement in the Wall Street Journal every year,” said Tony DeVos,
president of Cardinal Laboratories and CraZy Pet LLC.
