CraZy Pet Signs Four On The Floor Petwear to Make Canine T-Shirts
AZUSA, CA -- The Crazy Pet Company has entered into a licensing agreement with Four On The Floor Petwear, a Boca Raton, FL maker of silk-screened and novelty canine apparel.  Under the agreement, Four On The Floor Petwear will manufacture T-shirts for dogs that feature graphics of the colorful, humorous Crazy Dog and Baby Dog cartoon characters.

“Four On The Floor Petwear is known for making pet fashions of exceptionally high-quality construction, fabrication and fit.  We are very pleased to have a company of this caliber on board as a licensee,” said Barbara Denzer, Vice President of Marketing for the Crazy Pet Company.  “We also think that pet owners will have fun dressing Fifi and Fido in T-shirts with images of their ‘own’ cartoon dog heroes.”

Four On The Floor Petwear will be offering three canine apparel styles in the new Crazy Pet-licensed line: basic T-shirts, muscle Ts and bandannas.  The T-shirts will be available in Petite, Small, Medium and Large sizes, while the bandannas will be 22” to fit larger dogs.

The apparel is expected to hit the market in mid-September, according to Cindy Robinson, president of Four On The Floor Petwear.  Four On The Floor Petwear is known for special touches such as always shipping its pet fashions on hangers, “just like baby clothes,” said Robinson.  “These are, after all, clothes for ‘fur babies,’” she remarked.

“The Crazy Pet colors, cartoons and concepts make this a fun, playful company and endeavor,” Robinson added.  “We are really excited and eager to be working with such an innovative company.”

“That’s what I like to hear,” remarked Crazy Dog, President of the Crazy Pet Company. “The people at Four On The Floor Petwear are really with the program.  They won’t need much obedience training, which is why I approved the deal!”

The Four On The Floor Petwear arrangement is part of a new coordinated pet-child apparel program being developed by the Crazy Pet Company.  Crazy Pet is currently in the process of finalizing licensing agreements with other companies that make human or pet clothing.  They’re building a collection called Crazy Pet Wear.

“We’re building on the affinity of kids and pets,” said Howard Finelt, Executive Director of Strategic Licensing for the Crazy Pet Company. “It gives kids an opportunity to wear their favorite Crazy character and have their pet or their plush pet wear a matching piece -- it’s interactive clothing for kids and pets!”

The product line will feature matching apparel and accessories for children and pets, explained Finelt.  “This concept plays into one of today’s hottest trends -- pets becoming more a part of the family,” he said.  “Parents often like to dress siblings alike, and now we are going to be offering them the opportunity to extend this to their ‘four-legged’ children as well.”  The Crazy Pet Wear children’s items will be offered in Infants, Toddlers and 4-7 sizes, Finelt said.
