Flying Miss Daisy – Jessica Simpson’s maltipoo “Daisy” is one canine who’s been racking up the frequent flyer miles. She’s been spotted jet-hopping with her blonde owner to Miami, Manhattan and Cabo San Lucas, among other places, in her posh Louis Vuitton bag. But don’t get envious, dah-lings -- traveling with ditzy Jessica isn’t all kibble and biscuits. Like recently, when the spaced-out singer almost sent Daisy through the X-ray machine at Los Angeles International Airport. . .before scooping her off the conveyor just in time. |
LAX Cat Owner -- Speaking of LAX Airport, actress Kate Beckinsale was recently spotted there walking through the terminal with her cat “Wabbit” in her arms. Some humans never learn! Not too long ago Kate was wailing because Wabbit turned up missing (later to be found on a neighbor’s roof). So now what does she do, carry him around an airport of all places – which can be torture for us felines -- and not even in a designer bag. Can you blame the poor puss for running away?
Matzoball’s Revenge – OK pups and kitties, what do you do when your owner gets a new - ugh -- human baby? Take a cue from “Matzoball,” the bulldog who used to be Adam Sandler’s only little bundle of joy, until his daughter Sadie arrived. Matzoball was “initially heartbroken, wondering why all the attention wasn’t on her anymore,” said Adam. But Matzoball didn’t cry in her soup for long -- this bright bulldog struck back by stealing the little brat’s toys. “She sees my daughter having fun with a toy; the next day we will find the toy beat up with mucus on it,” lamented Adam. Way to roll, Matzoball!
Trendy Trash – Dah-lings, we know you must be sick of trashy Paris Hilton tales, but we just had to pass this one along. An empty can of dog food taken from the recently-released-jailbird’s trash fetched $305 in an eBay auction. Actually it was gourmet organic dog food, so we can’t trash Paris about what she’s feeding her pooches.
Oops She Did It Again – First they both got Chihuahuas, then the aforementioned Paris added a Yorkshire terrier to her canine collection, and now we hear Britney Spears has once again followed her partying buddy’s lead by purchasing a new Yorkie pup, which she named “London.” But if you think Yorkies are the hottest breed among A-listers, think again. That honor would have to go to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, which is currently the rage with Liv Tyler, Courteney Cox, Mischa Barton and Jennifer Love Hewitt, among others.
Love Is The Pits – Justin Timberlake’s relationship with Jessica Biel is going to the dogs – literally. Seems the heartthrob singer can’t get ’nSync with Jessica’s two pit bulls. The oldest, “Tina,” constantly growls at him and the other, “Tezzy,” chews his shoes. And more bull’s headed Justin’s way, because Jessica just adopted a third pit puppy.
